3 Tips To Help You Build A Loyal Tribe

Think about your clients and customers; how much do they love your products and services? Seriously though, do they LOVE your brand or do they have more of an obligatory transactional relationship with you? You might be saying to yourself, "why does this even matter?" It takes people to connect to an idea that connects them with each other; you and your brand need to provide the leadership for that group of individuals. Here are a few ways that can really solidify the community that you cultivate

Create A Space For Community

In the old days of the internet message boards held the attention for a lot of niche groups around a variety of subject matters that were passionately and closely followed. Today, those environments exist on Facebook Groups. Since so many people are on Facebook it's easy to get them to join a group with relative ease. This can serve as a place to post updates, curate discussion, schedule events, host live-stream videos and more! Since you're going to centralize discussion around a single broad topic people will be sure to keep coming back multiple times a day.

Q & A For Brutally Honest Feedback

Question & Answer is one of the best ways to get the best feedback from your tribe. If your customer list is small enough you should give them all a personal phone call and really talk with them about their experience with hour product or service. If it's not that small, then give the phone call to your top 10, 20, 50 or so customers and get a sense for how you can bring them even more value. This is also a great time to ask them to leave you an honest review that you can publish on your site and in your marketing material.

First In Line - The New VIP

If you have a consistent set of customers or clients that are always happy to see something new released and enjoy taking the early leap to 'be the first' then develop a sort of beta-test group for these individuals. These 'first-in-line' customers will feel a sense of exclusivity and be able to give you fast feedback before you release it to the rest of the public. This is also a good group to offer discounts, specials, exclusives that can't be had elsewhere and other valuable perks that keep them tightly engaged. The best medium to reach these customers is either through text messaging or Facebook messenger. If you stay consistent with this platform you'll develop a very loyal following.
